A Quick Recap of #HenkaaEngaged

Success! The second edition of #HenkaaEngaged is complete and we had such a great time with our guests! Big thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated with us. We can’t wait for more to come.

We started the night off right – with sweets and treats of course – and took some time to mingle and have fun with our guests. Personally, I was SO in love with the mini flower cupcakes we got from J’Adore Sweets Bakery. Aren’t they the cutest little things?

Kleinfeld brought this stunning Pnina Tornai wedding dress to show off for the night. Who wouldn’t feel like a princess wearing this thing? It’s absolutely gorgeous.

We had Stephanie from the Blush Pretty team join us for the night who treated our guests to a mini-makeover. We’ve gotta say that Stephanie definitely knows how to make a girl feel pampered! Ladies walked out looking totally fab thanks to her creative hand and they also loved the opportunity to get some special treatment.

Throughout the night, our guests got their creative juices flowing and had the opportunity to participate in our “Win Your Look” contest where they submitted pictures of their most unique creations in hopes of winning the items they used in their outfit. We saw some pretty interesting configurations that incorporated brooches and necklaces, and even some new wrap styles we’ve never seen before. In the end, the lucky winner Tara M. won her look thanks to her one-of-a-kind styling. Congrats Tara!

We were also happy to have Jennifer from The Vow Project join us for the night! If you haven’t heard of them, The Vow Project creates unique experiences for real brides and exposes them to the best wedding vendors in Toronto. Check out their website for more details!

Our bridal fashion show featured our 4 most popular bridal themes and the perfect Henkaa bundles for each of them: destination wedding, traditional wedding, rustic wedding, and honeymoon. You can check out the looks in the full event photo album on our Facebook (link here).

We also took this opportunity to unveil our newest addition to our collection – the Daffodil Overlay – which will be available this coming spring.

Of course, we had some amazing door prizes to hand out to a few lucky winners at the event. Prizes included a gift basket from Kiehl’s, an engagement shoot from Black Umbrella Photography, a makeover from Blush Pretty, a crystal cake stand from Kleinfeld, a cake from J’Adore Sweets Bakery, and many more exciting prizes. We even had an extra special guest to help us choose names for the raffle – how cute is she?

All in all, the night was filled with laughter, fun, good times and good friends and we were glad to see some familiar faces come through the door. We hope to see everyone at our upcoming events, so stay posted on our Facebook page to stay up to date with our social calendar.
