Steal Her Style: Emily Ratajkowski 2017 Golden Globes

Emily Ratajkowski made jaws drop this past Sunday at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards. Find out how you can recreate her look using convertible fashion!

It’s no surprise that Emily Ratajkowski showed up to the 2017 Golden Globes looking extra sizzlin’ hot! The 25-year-old actress is no stranger to rocking some of the hottest and most scandalous outfits, and this was no exception.

Emily wore a gorgeous Reem Acra gown which featured a yellow silk fabric, an extra deep plunging neckline, and an extra high slit up the middle of her dress. The bejeweled collar of the dress added the perfect touch of sparkle to the outfit and traveled from her chest all the way down to the top of the high slit. It helped to rock up the ensemble, making it look less delicate.

Did you catch Emily’s sexy faux bob?
Find out how we stole Emily Ratajkowskis outfit from the 2017 Golden Globes using convertible fashion!

Yep, that’s right. She didn’t actually cut her hair!

The textured bob was the creation of Emily’s super talented hairstylist Christian Wood who explained that they didn’t want to cover the beautiful details of the back of her dress with her long locks. In reality, Wood had only trimmed her bangs and a few pieces around the crown of her head in order to make the bob look really real. The rest of her hair was braided, rolled up, and pinned in place. Talk about a hair-hack!

Yellow dresses were all the rage this year at the Golden Globe awards with Natalie Portman, Maisie Williams, Reese Witherspoon, and Kerry Washington all rocking the bold hue along side Ratajkowski. Although we didn’t have the bold shade to match it, we definitely wanted to recreate the beautiful style and shape of Emily’s Reem Acra gown. Wanna find out how we stole her style? Scroll down to see!

Steal Her Style: Game of Thrones Daenerys Targaryen

Today we’ll be stealing the style of Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of Meereen, Queen of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons. Got it?

With the TV season feeling so short, we find ourselves anticipating new episodes for an entire year! But now with Game of Thrones Season 5 leaked online early, it’s easy to just download the first 4 episodes to watch. Tell us, are you a purist who will be waiting each week for new episodes or did you binge watch all of the new episodes before the HBO premiere even released?! We’re patiently waiting to watch it as regularly scheduled… so that we can see some styles from Westeros to steal!

Today we were inspired by Dany’s look– her style has evolved so much from her time as a meek girl traded for a khalasar to a strong leader liberating slaves. As of now, she tends towards a halter neckline and often her advisor Missandei is dressed similarly to her. We loved her latest look, so check out how to get her regal style with our Game of Thrones style maxi dress and the instructions below:

Steal Her Style: Missandei in Game of Thrones Season 5

This past Sunday, we anxiously waited for HBO to release the premiere of Game of Thrones. Much to our surprise though, the wait would be over sooner than we anticipated– the Game of Thrones Season 5 premiere had leaked! Actually, 4 entire episodes leaked online and were available for download. Then began the internal debate of whether to binge watch all available episodes or watch it week by week as they released. Which party will you be part of?

As always, the ladies of George RR Martin’s fictional world are endlessly inspiring. This time we’re looking to Missandei for style inspiration. Speaker of nineteen languages, trusted advisor to the Khaleesi from Astapor to Yunkai to Mereen, she is one of many strong female characters in Game of Thrones that we love. As time goes on, Missandei’s outfits begin to mirror Daenerys’ with matching halter necklines, which is just fine with us because we love stealing their style. Read on below for instructions on how to get her drapey blue dress look:

D’awww! There’s no denying the chemistry between these two lovebirds. Dax later spilled the beans on Jimmy Kimmel Live and told the audience that their big day only cost them $142 including their marriage license and gas to get to and from the Beverly Hills Courthouse! It goes to show that you don’t need a traditional, formal wedding to prove the love between each other when you know that what you have is the real deal.

Since we love Kristen Bell’s elegant style, we decided to feature her on this edition of Steal Her Style!

Kristen walked onto the Emmy Red Carpet beaming like a light and looked absolutely stunning in her Zuhair Murad gown. The dress featured a deep V-neck and a beautiful ballgown skirt which gave the dress a sexy yet classic look. The floral print all over the dress had an earthy, tropical vibe to it and proved that floral prints are definitely IN this season!

In order to recreate this look, we used our Citrus Floral Chiffon Overlay which is part of our brand new Limited Edition Botanical Chiffon Collection. We’re so excited to finally release these Overlays, make sure to get your hands on them before they’re gone!

Steal Her Style: Kim Kardashian West’s Iconic Bodycon Dress

Interested to see how we stole Kim Kardashian West’s sexy bodycon look? Scroll down to find out how to steal her style!

Love them or hate them, there’s no denying that the Kardashian Family has a huge influence on today’s pop culture and fashion trends. Whether it’s Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney’s co-owned fashion boutique Dash, Kylie’s perma-sold out Lip Kits, or Kendall’s edgy outfit inspo, they’re all heavy hitting influencers that are constantly on every major fashion guru’s radar.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock these past few months, then you’ve probably heard about the Kimye vs. Taylor Swift feud in the new. For those of you that need the 411, here’s a quick summary:

Earlier this year, Kanye West released a song called “Famous” where he raps “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that b*tch famous.” Of course, this started a storm in the Twitter-sphere (to say the least) with Taylor fans bashing Kanye for the lyrics. Kanye immediately took to Twitter to defend himself, explaining that he had called Taylor to get her approval and she had sent her blessings.

In response to this, one of the reps from Taylor’s publicity team released a statement saying that Taylor cautioned Kanye about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Later that month at the Grammys, Taylor Swift accepted her Album of the Year Award for 1989 and used her speech to respond to Kanye.

“As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there—there are going to be people along the way who are going to try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame. But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be greatest feeling in the world.”

After this, there was a lot of back and forth between Swift and Kimye. Until finally, on July 18, Kim Kardashian unloaded the ultimate pile of receipts on her Snapchat where she released a video of Kanye and Taylor discussing the song on the phone. The conversation is cordial and polite with both Kanye and Taylor chatting like any two friends would. In the video, Swift can be heard saying that she’s totally okay with the song and sees it as a compliment, completely going against all of the statements she had released before.

Nevertheless, Kim Kardashian West and Taylor Swift are both huge style icons that always dressed to the nines. With this in mind, this week we decided to steal Kim K’s signature bodycon dress using one of our convertible dresses. Scroll down to find out how to steal her style!
